The start of a new year reminds me of how Stephen Covey advised “highly effective people” to “begin with the end in mind.” But that doesn’t mean HR can just “set it and forget it” when it comes to planning.

You should always have a clear mission and consistent goals to guide you through the year, but as the last couple years have taught us, change is a constant in the workplace.
