BerniePortal announces partnership with GGAHU
BerniePortal helps California brokers fight back
BerniePortal is excited to announce a new partnership with the Golden Gate Association of Health Underwriters (GGAHU). Bernieportal is joining a technology education program created by GGAHU to facilitate the selection and training support of leading HR & benefits administration platforms for its health insurance broker members.
Local brokers are facing challenges from large venture capital-backed competitors such as Zenefits who are offering their benefit and HR technology platforms for free to businesses, in exchange for the “broker of record”. GGAHU, along with its partners, will help provide brokers with the tools that they need to compete in this changing environment.
"Our chapter is unique in that some of our members work for a large competitor that already offers an exclusive technology platform. For the rest of our members, identifying and getting up to speed on the myriad of options is a big challenge," says Cathy Little, President-Elect of GGAHU.
"I'm a broker myself and have formed great relationships with my clients. As their trusted adviser, I want to bring them technology tools that will alleviate their administrative burdens, help them with compliance and complement the full scope of services I already provide as part of my value proposition. We have a lot of members in the same boat, and so I'm glad GGAHU can help."
GGAHU's new program is serving as a follow up to this year's widely attended Technology Summit, which invited all HR software platform companies that partner with brokers to participate.
"We were extremely honored to be invited by GGAHU to participate in this program," said Alex Tolbert, founder of BerniePortal. "We admire GGAHU's leadership in the area and look forward to serving their members."
The program commences this week, culminating with two days of in-person training on July 20th and 21st. For details about the program and to register for a demo, visit www.ggahu.org.
